Age 83; born in Anyox, British Columbia, Canada; graduate of Long Beach Poly Tech, bachelor's degree from U. of California, Berkeley; served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a member of the engineer corps in the South Pacific; worked in the insurance business and in the family water business as vice president of Mt. Valley Water Co., in 1980 joined Sparkling Springs Water Co., retiring as vice president of marketing in 2001; preceded in death by his wife Patricia, and two brothers, Anthony and Stephen P.
