Survived by: Wife Anne (Langfitt) Fawcett; children Dwight (Pete( (Christina) Fawcett, Jane (Robert) Dearborn and Donald (Adrienne) Fawcett; grandchildren Jackson, Thomas and Katherine Fawcett, Lucy Dearborn, Lynne (Hans) Schneider, Margot Dearborn, Madeleine, Cecelia and Teresa Fawcett.
Age 89, died in Evanston IL. Also resided in Winnetka IL and North Palm Beach FL. The only child of Hazel and Dwight Ansley Fawcett. His father relocated often because of his work for the New York Central Railroad and Mr. Fawcett grew up in many cities in Indiana and Ohio and attended seven different schools before he was eighteen. Joined U.S. Navy in 1945 and trained in Bainbridge MD. Graduate of Indiana University (1948) and Harvard Law School (1951). Worked for Mayer Brown in Chicago in bank and international law and retired as senior partner in 1991. Served as board member for Metropolitan Family Services, Legal Aid Society, Seabury-Western Theological Seminary and St. Gregory's Episcopal School. Memorial service, Christ Church, Winnetka IL, Jan. 28, 2017. - Date of Publication
