Age 97; born to parents George and Camilla McKey Folds and raised in Evanston; BA degree from Yale U. in 1932; lifelong career executive at Marshall Field and Company, retiring in 1972 as senior vice president and general manager; U.S. Navy pilot during WWII with the Atlantic fleet, received the Bronze Star for service in the U.S. Eighth Fleet in the Mediterranean; married in 1948 and lived in Northfield, served on the village council from 1958-67, also lived 30 years in Winnetka; served on corporate and institutional boards including Children's Memorial Hospital from 1957-84; avid sportsman including fishing, shooting and polo; preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne, in 2002, his sister, Camilla (Arwed) Boitel and two brothers, Thomas and George Robert Folds - Date of Publication
