Age 79; 48-year resident of Wilmette IL; passed away after 10-year struggle with chronic lung disease; born in Chicago; early 1950s, co-started first Jewish fraternity at Loyola U.; paid way through Northwestern U. dental school; Captain in U.S. Army Dental Corp stationed at Ft. Dix; 31-year career as dentist, chairman of dental surgery departments at Mt. Sinai and Skokie Valley hospitals, fellow at Institute of Medicine, President of North Side branch of Chicago Dental Society, selected to IL State Dental Society Executive Council, President of IL Foundation of Dentistry for Handicapped; worked in private practice, served on faculties of Northwestern's Dental School and Chicago Medical School; 1986 retired; Wilmette Rotary Citizen of the Year, 2001 Pioneer Press Volunteer of the Year, recipient of Cook County Sheriff's Senior Medal of Honor Award; wrote poetry throughout his life and autobiography (Memories From The Little Brown Door( - Date of Publication
