Age 86; born in St. Clair Shores, Michigan to Rollin Lester Gray II and Elizabeth Lewis Gray; 1936 high school graduate in Santa Cruz, California, attended San Jose State College and Purdue U., earned doctorate in theology; married first wife Barbara on April 27, 1941 and raised five children in Evanston and Glenview; joined U.S. Army March 3, 1942 serving in Khuigpur, India in WWII, recalled to duty during the Korean Conflict, retired in 1964; worked in advertising and publishing in Chicago and New York, vice president of Saville Organ Company in Glenview, realtor in Minneapolis and Salt Lake City; married 2nd wife Edith in 1979; deacon and elder in the Glenview Presbyterian Church, representative to Presbytery of Chicago; preceded in death by his first wife Barbara and a sister, Betty Nystrom
