Age 76; born to Irish immigrant parents, Michael and Mary (nee Lee) Waters and raised on South Side of Chicago; attended Mercy H.S., St. Xavier U. and De Paul U.; married in 1950; 24 years at Northwestern U. as administrative assistant to the chairman of Radio, Television and Film Dept. of the School of Speech and to the associate dean of the School of Education, and executive secretary to dean of students of Kellogg Graduate School of Management; preceded in death by premature twin sons in 1951 and a brother John (Charlotte) Waters
