Age 91, of Glenview. Born outside Dayton OH to Raymond and Irma (Shawen) Hime. Graduate of Heidelberg University in Tiffin OH and holder of doctoral degree from Northwesterrn University. Leading expert on chemistry of cement and other construction materials, author of over 100 professional articles. Taught briefly at Louisiana Tech University; manager of chemical and petrographic research at Portland Cement Association. Formed Erlin, Hime Associates with Bernie Erlin in 1972; acquired by Wiss, Janney, Elstner (WJE) Associates in 1984. Served as principal at WJE until retirement in 2007. Charter member of Presbyterian Church (North Branch Bible Church) of Glenview; memorial service there, June 10, 2017. - Date of Publication
