Age 75; resident of Winnetka IL since 1964, died at his summer home in Ellison Bay WI; born in Wilmette, attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help School in Glenview, 1943 graduate of New Trier H.S.; two years in U.S. Navy as light-craft infantryman near end of WWII; first worked for Hoffman Lumber Co.; early 1950s bought newspaper dealership, grew to become KEW News Agency, servicing Kenilworth and East Wilmette; enjoyed fishing, gardening, carpentry and hunting; member of American Legion of Wilmette and Northbrook Gun Club
