Hunzinger,the owner and president of Evanston Awning Company, died at age 57. The family's Chicago-based company, Hunzinger Canvas Products, was started in 1840. It is the oldest existing awning company in the Chicago area. Mr. Hunzinger participated in several civic groups, including the Evanston Chamber of Commerce, DesPlaines Elks Club, Rogers Park Lions Club and Boy Scout Troop 3, which met at Trinity Church of the North Shore in Wilmette.
