Age 86; resident of Northfield IL, formerly of Northbrook; 1935 bachelor's degree from Georgetown U.; 1942 enlisted in Marine Corps, received Purple Heart & Bronze Star for bravery at Iwo Jima; began as a water boy for his father John J. Kenny who started Kenny Construction Co. in 1927; built Chicago's first subway station, O'Hare's first jet runway, Chicago's first Deep Tunnel project, the Dan Ryan, the Chicago Skyway and Illinois tollway system, nationwide built highways from Washington D.C. to Interstate 5 in San Diego, transit systems in Chicago, Boston, Washington D.C., Los Angeles & Puerto Rico and airport projects in Chicago, Michigan, New Orleans and Oklahoma; loved golf, 1975 named (Golf Family of the Year( by Golf Digest; member of Knights of Malta; proceded in death by his wife, Rosalie in 1988
