No date of death given, Funeral Mass on August 21, 2010 at St. Athanasius Church in Evanston IL; born and grew up in Chicago, graduate of Leo H.S.; WWII served three years in U.S. Air Force assigned to Italian campaign; BS degree in civil engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology; 1950 married Audrey; 2005 married Betty; taught undergraduate engineering courses at Illinois Institute of Technology and worked for Kaiser Engineers; 1969 sent to San Nicolas, Argentina to work on design and construction of steel-making plant; after retirement started Engineering Guild; ever the activist, supported Civil Rights Movement, marched with Martin Luther King against the Vietnam War, promoted inter-religious understanding, active member of Peace and Justice Committee of Evanston's St. Athanasius Church, cooked & played chess with persons with AIDs at Bonaventure House in Chicago; preceded in death by his first wife, Audrey in 1996 and his son, Steve in 2007
