Survived by: sons, James, David, Kenneth and Steven; four grandchilden; sister, Minnie Krueger, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Gerald.
Louis Lass, age 69, a lifelong glenview resident, died at Lutheran General Hospital. Services were held at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Revs. Richard Maasel and Wilmer Reichmann presiding. Mr. Lass worked at Northern Illinois Gas Company for 47 years, serving as supervisor of special services at his retirement in 1976. He was instrumental in the formation of the Glenview Little League in the early 1950's. He coached on that level, as well as in the Pony and Semi-Pro Leagues in Glenview. He was also an active member of Immanuel Lutheran church, serving in volunteer and elected positions.
