Age 88; born in Chicago and raised in New Hampshire; graduate of the U. of Minnesota; worked as a medical technologist until marrying a physician; almost completely deaf; life revolved around the First Congregational Church and her children; taught church school from eighth grade through her 80's, an artist creating banners and works of art for the church (studied under Rudolph Penn of the Art Institute of Chicago); member of the Art Institute of Chicago, Oak Park Art League, Field Museum, Mayflower Society and the New England Historic and Genealogical Society; preceded in death by her husband, Oliver and two brothers, John and Harold
