Age 65; born and raised in Evanston IL; died from mesenteric venous thromboses, resulting in septic shock; graduate of Evanston Township H.S. and Franklin College of Indiana (12th Mock to attend), member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, completed a year's graduate study in mathematics at Southern Illinois U.; served in U.S. Army during Vietnam War, stationed in Colorado Springs CO; worked 15 years in family business, Medical Business Bureau of Chicago, 10 years as editor of legal textbooks, 7 years at Chicago Mercantile Exchange, last job as tutor in math and English at Truman College; while in the Army acted in base dramatic productions, 1970s semi-pro wrestler in Illinois and Wisconsin, a tag team champion often seen on television, many roles in community theater, served as extra on movie and television sets in Chicago; did astrological charts, lectured at conventions on astrology of the Mafia and astrology of movie stars, comedians & directors; traveled U.S. and Europe, spent a summer in Switzerland; preceded in death by his parents, Myra and Eugene W. Mock, and older brother, Worth
