Age 81; born in Chicago; at age 25 became president of Paddor's, a women's wear business founded by his father and uncle, sold his interest to his cousin in 1983 and became a financial advisor and senior vice president of Mesirow Financial in Highland Park; headed Evans college scholarship program for employees of Green Acres Country Club, contributor to both Ravinia Music Festival and the Art Center of Highland Park; preceded in death by his first wife of 55 years, Lorraine (nee Eisenstaedt)
