Age 90. Father Vartan Pedian founded Pedian Rug Company; Vahan and his brothers Haig and Ara also worked in the firm. Sold business in 2003. Attended Belding Grammar School and Schurz High School in Chicago. Served in U.S. Navy as signalman on U.S.S. Terror during World War II. Prominent member of Valley Lo Sports Club in Glenview for over fifty years. Honored with Lifetime Service Award from Valley Lo Homeowners Association.
