Age 89, of Northbrook IL. Attended Jehovah Elementary and Chicago Luther Institute for high school. Drafted into Army in 1945 and served in France and Germany. Graduated from Wright Junior College in 1949. Served in 82nd Airborne Division in 1949-53. Married in 1952 and moved to Northbrook IL in 1955. Construction estimator for Joseph J. Duffy Co. for 30+ years. Active in Grace Lutheran Church and American Legion Post 791 in Northbrook IL. Funeral service at Grace Lutheran Church, Northbrook IL, May 20, 2017. Preceded in death by wife Martha Jane Peiffer and brother Llewellyn (Lew) Peiffer. - Date of Publication
