Age 85; born in Chicago to Curtis R. and Len (nee Privett) Welborn; graduated from New Trier H.S. in 1941 and was in the class of 1945 at Northwestern U., member of Kappa Kappa Gamma; married in Florida in 1944 where her husband was completing his naval officers' training; located in Evanston, moved to Winnetka in 1957; active in Crow Island and Skokie School PTAs, board member, committee member, volunteer and fundraiser for Chicago and North Shore charities and educational institutions including Christ Church Winnetka, The Cradle, Chicago Symphony Orchestra Women's Assoiciation, Hadley School for the Blind, Kappa Kappa Gamma, New Trier H.S. alumni, Northwestern Settlement Association and Northwestern U.
