Studied chemical engineering at University of Minnesota. Had long career at Los Alamos National Laboratory including participation in Manhattan project during WWII. Witnessed H-bomb test at Bikini atoll. Co-founder of clean tech company Potter Drilling in his nineties. Moved to CA in 2008 and lived at Brookdale Assisted Living.
