Died in Redwood City CA, age 96. Born Indianapolis IN to late William and Ruth (Marshall) Potter. Predeceased by wife Marilyn (Moran) Potter (d. 2002), son Jeffrey Potter (d. 2015) and brother William Potter. Grew up in Glenview IL and received BS in chemistry from Northwestern University. Studied chemical engineering at University of Minnesota. Had long career at Los Alamos National Laboratory including participation in Manhattan project during WWII. Witnessed H-bomb test at Bikini atoll. Co-founder of clean tech company Potter Drilling in his nineties. Moved to CA in 2008 and lived at Brookdale Assisted Living. - Date of Publication
