Age 71; died from complications from a stroke; born in Cincinnati OH to Earl and Honora Winter; graduated from Ursuline Academy in 1956 and Edgecliff College in 1960; taught high school two years; met husband as a camper at Fort Scott Camp, married 1961; worked as travel agent; moved to Wilmette IL in 1969, 1974-77 lived in New Canaan CT, 1978-87 in Kenilworth IL, 1987-90 in Hong Kong, 1990-2002 in Wilmette & Northfield IL; longtime community activist, especially as a 41-year parishioner at St. Joseph's Church (president of St. Joseph's School Board, Women's Club & PTA) and Wilmette-Kenilworth Club; preceded in death by her husband, John and sister, Martha - Date of Publication
