Age 91; grew up with three sisters in Edgewood PA; moved to California during WWII and Wilmette IL during post-war boom years; married to a retired colonel in U.S. Marine Corps and former vice-president of U.S. Steel Corporation; enjoyed yoga, recreational tennis and golf, winning the Glenview Naval Air Station Senior Ladies Championship; after husband's death, moved to Poway CA to live with sister, dressed in matching outfits and were frequent golfers; devoted to the Corps, continued to attend reunions of 1941 USMC First Officers Candidate Class; preceded in death by her husband, Jack in 1978 and a daughter, Terry Jean in 1947
