Age 85; lifelong resident of Northfield IL, died at Whitehall North Nursing Center in Deerfield; born on his parent's farm in Northfield, called Wau Bun; one of 10 children born to Benedikt and Barbara Barenbrugge Seul (family moved from Trier, Germany to Northfield in late 1800s); sergeant with U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII; founded Seul's Tavern & Grill of Northfield in 1949; founding member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Northfield; preceded in death by four brothers, Ben, Gus, Pete and Ed Seul and four sisters, Agnes Bauer, Rose Spence, Clara and Kate Seul
