Survived by: her husband, Charles; and four children, John Radner, Mary Ann Pike, Kathleen Paulauskas and Barbara Reque; five grandchildren; her sister Teresa Kunselman; and brothers, John, William and Alfred McAuley.
Irene Simon, a 12-year resident of Glenview, died at Glenbrook Hospital. She was active in civic affairs and various charities; past president of the League of Women Voters, Evanston; past president of the Democratic Women of the 10th Congressional District; and active in the Glenview chapter of the League of Women Voters. Mass was offered at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Mrs. Simon was born in Brooklyn, NY, and formerly lived in Evanston.
