Resident of Greensboro, VT; born in Chicago and grew up in Wilmette, IL; graduate of New Trier H.S., BA in English and Masters in History from Northwestern; married in 1961; taught at Evanston H.S., 1977 joined Northwestern faculty as a lectureer in the Writing Program, 1988 senior lecturer, 2001 retired emeritus; coauthored Essentials of World History and The Past Speaks; inspiration, editor and typist for her husband's scholastic works; 15 years as Aspenhurst Association treasurer, Mountain View Country Club secretary, received Founder's Day Award, supported Greensboro Free Library and Greensboro Land Trust
