A companion caught hold of him, but was unable to pull himâ€"to safety. i Locatelli worked at the hotel until early in the afternoon, and then ate a heavy meal before going to the lake. It is believed that this caused him to suffer cramps after he had been in the cold water.a short ‘time. Drowning followed a struggle against a strong. undercurrent, which finally swept the man out into water above his depth. His companion, another employe of the hotel, was a much smaller man. Other swimers not far away were talled to fcor help ‘but Locatelli sank before any of them could | reach him.
