Her first appearance was in her own home town of Evanston when she was four years old. ‘ Ever since she can reâ€" member she wanted to go on the stage. Her family made one stipulaâ€" tion, that she finish school and keep up with her dancing~if she wished during that period. As soom as she had finished school Porothy found her way into the "Greenwich Village Foilics" as a dancer. While it is an acting part, it is also the role of a young girl who is a dancer on the stage and because of daneing Dorothy was able to fill the role.
