The Deerfield Post of the American Legion held its regular meeting, Wedâ€" nesday evening, when final arrangeâ€" ments were made for the carnival to be held Saturday afternoon and eveâ€" ning, July 28. The "History of Deerfield," comâ€" piled by Mrs. J. A. Reichelt Jr., is being published under the auspices of the Deerfield Post of the American Legion and will be distributed shortly. Sunday, July 29, Rev. Elmer Geisâ€" er of Highland Park will preach at 11 am. Rev. J. M. Andrews of the Presbyterian church, will be in charge of the eight o‘clock evening service. Sunday, August 5, the Rev. H. S. Fritach, pastor of the Hough Congreâ€" gational church of Cleveland, Ohio, will preach at 11 a.m, The evening service on that day will be in charge of the Woman‘s Missionary society nic on the lawn of the church.
