This Association not only accepts the responsibilities - but it guarantees the materials and workmanship of any plumbing or heating installed by a mem- ber of the association for the period of one year. The Lake County Sanitary and Heating Engineers Association is organized to provide protection from unscrupulous practices of manufacturers and jobbers. It is favorable to labor as attest- ed by the fact that organized labor is employed by every one of its members. Because we believe in serving the" public with the best of everything, we employ only the most skillful work- men - which means union labor. In short, the association is working at all times for the general good of its members, la- bor, and the general public. The safety of your home depends to a large extent on the modern, safe, and sanitary installation of plumbing and heat- ing. Our members protect you from poor or improper installer tions in your home. schools and public buildings - for they realize such work is a menace to the lives of every man, wo- man and child in the community. Poor heating installations increase fire hazards, which may cause the loss of your home, place of business - and even the lives of your loved ones. There are many features of a heating plant, which require scientific attention. Our members stand always ready, to inspect your heating plant without cost to you and we Stand back. of any advice they may give you. F The members of this association are masters of their trade - chosen because of their skill and their past records as honest eMeient craftsmen. They are residents of your community, they are property owners and they raise their families among you. Consequently, they take genuine pride in their work- and feel an individual responsibility for the health and comfort of their neighbors. The fact that this association is progressive is witnessed by the fact that the members freely exchange experiences in improving methods, of installation, that we support the Illinois Master Plumbers' Association, the National As- sociation of Master Plumbers of the United States and the' Plumbing and Heating Industries Bureau in health legislation and the carrying on of the research in the great universities in the country, as well as the endowment of scientific schools and classes for apprentices in the trades.
