They said they would give the best dinner ever given in the church and no one calls to mind a better one, although the mothers of the boys are the ones deserving credit for â€"this. The boys made a thorough canvass for tickets so that they would be sure of their profits should the weather prove inclement, but the night was favorable and the: tables more than filled. The boys looked after the serving and "servâ€" ite" was the password. and everyone congratulated the boys on their sucâ€" cess. The profits of the affair will go to partitioning o a new class room in the ,basement and improving the lcitch'efiLso~that â€"may â€"also serve as a classroom. The Women‘s Foreign Missionary society held its monthly meeting at the parsonage Tuesday afternoon of this week, the guests of Mrs. E. S. Jefferson. _ A bountiful "pot luck" lunch was served, contributed by the ladies, each bringing one item of the menu. .
