Among the later works to be offered will be _one. called "American Marseillaise" which was composed. a little more than a year ago, by Mr. Lagourgue. ‘And the French Marseillaise too, that stirring song of patriotic fervor which is constantly heard in France, will ceeupy a position of honor, being sung by no less an artist than Leon Rothier, French basso of the Ravinia Opera forces. The opera to be preâ€" sented in the evening is quite in keeping with the spirit of this French| holiday, â€" being Pounods‘ . French work, "Romeo and Juliet" with Mme. Gall, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Rothier and Mr. Defrere in the four principal roles. Mme.
