Mother and Daughter Banquet Over 100 reservations are in for the "Mother and Daughter banquet" Friday evening, April 4 at 6:30, more are expected. The assembly is atâ€" tractively _ decorated in Japanese lanterns andâ€" cherry blossoms, also Christmas lights which add color to the setting. The decorations were placed up early enough that the varâ€" icus groups meeting in the assembly previously, enjoyed them. The theme of the banquet is "Our Y. W. C. A. Flower Garden." Toasts are in keepâ€" ing with the theme, each club repreâ€" senting a flower, table decorations are in keeping with each chosen flower. Several original poems "to mother" will be read. Miss Bornemann, Deerâ€" field Grammar school nurse, who was a Girl Reserve in California several years ago will read a toast she gave to mothers when a Girl Reserve in high school club there.
