This award is given to theatres which are recommended for it by a competent committee éomposed of leading Motion picture critics in 32 key cities and towns of the country, according to an ttrtrtouneemet in the Herald-World, which says that the of. fer of this award is the first concrete rocognition of the effort of theatre mm to improve reproduction. .
