T The pageant "Fashion of the Ages" caused much merriment, for it helped us to "see ourselves as others sew u: 30 years ago." Those present- ing the pageant were Ethel Morris, Agnes Milligan, Crystal Talley, Edith Boss, Wilhelmina Theuniasen, Anna Moilanen, Flora Milligan. Esther, Soumi, Ruth Nelson, Helen Novak, Hulda Myman and Irene Snri. The junior group of dresses were shown by Sara Jane Marley. Jeyvel and Phyllis Stryker, Vivian Ind Carol Shelk, Sylvia Drake, and Lorain Holl- bird. thy Friday night the octette under the direction of Helen Meyer Man- nings played several selections, which were received with enthusiasm. Mrs. Frank Horn sang a. lovely solo, ac- companied by the oetette, Mrs. E. R, Baum. sang two groups of songs with the engaging manner that en- dear, her to her audience. Mrs. Paul Downing played her accompaniments. Tiny tots in the style show were Annie Rosie Morley. Edward War- rem, Malcoln MeFee, Bettie Holabird, Bonnie Jean McElvain. On Thursday night there were dances by Ellen Horn, pupil of Mil. dred Haeaaler, accompanied by Lola Robinson at the piano. Miss Eliza. beth Axline sang a pleasing group of songs, Eleanor Erickson, pianist and Dora Krueger violinist played for the fashion promenade. . Francis Drake arranged-the light- ing. v . The B, YU club held a special meet- ing Monday evening at the Y.W.C.A. to complete plans for their spring dance on April 23. The girls have spared no effort to make the eve- ning a pleasant one. They are to be congratu- lated upon their success. The assem- bly hall was Med on both Thursday and Friday evenings. Those who came saw a display id .lovely new spring clothes that would delight any audience. _ The local shops participating in the show were Garnett's, Smith's Daily's Mary Ann, Jack and Jill, Celia Craig, Fell’s Show, Ellandee, Victor Broth- ers, Mr. Harris of the Alden Studio arranged the stage.
