St. Paul‘s Church Receives New Members Palm Sunday was a banner day at St. Paul‘s. For the first time in the history of the church worshippers could find no room for worship. 267 people were crowded into the church to witness the beautiful confirmation service which was conducted by the pastor, F. G. Piepenbrok,. Thirteen young people publically confessed their faith in God and were conseâ€" crated to the service of their Lord and Master, Jesus Christ. THEâ€" PRESS Harold Huhn, son of John Huhn, is the first Deerfield scout to attain the highest rank in scouting, that of Eagle Scout. # Harold is a member of troop 52 of the Presbyterian church, Rev, Mark Andrews, scoutmaster, He has atâ€" tended scout camp on two different summers, passing several tests on each of these occasions. He has proven himself to be loyal and helpâ€" ful in his troop and looks forward to continuing his work until he is old enough to take his place in the ranks as a scout leader. Many other scouts in the Deerfieldâ€" Bannockburn district expect to attain the rank of Eagle in the next few months, some while in camp this summer. A Deerfield Garden club received honâ€" orable mention on gate exhibit at the Central ~States Garden and Flower show held last week in the Chicago Stadium. The gate was designed and made by Mr. C.
