Mr. Strube, our asaistant Beoutnutater, came over with the boys from Everett a few minutes later. We all piled into his car, 18 of us. On the way to the woods we stopped at Louis F. Swift’s greenhouse to get a botany lesson. Mr..Strube, who works there, showed us all around the place. He then said that we are going to have a surprise one of these days and a little while later we found what it was. There was a large swimming pool, but at present it is under construction. Again we went into the car. It must have gone down about eight inches " least. We arrived at the woods a few minutes later. We looked around for a good campsite and tt place to have a council tire. It was getting late so we had to leave. 0n the way to the car some of the boys picked wild flowery to take home.- Waino Newman, Lake Forest.
