The boys dramatized the story of the Good Samaritan and the girls dramatized the parable of the Ten Virgins. A large and appreciative audience enâ€" joyed the. program and: also the fine display of handwork which consisted of pastel paintings, woven furniture, baskets, trays, bread boards, trellis and paper construction work., This was one of the best schools ever. conâ€" ducted by this church, having a splenâ€" did enrollment and a high average in attendance. â€" During the four wccks‘ the children sent a total of 130 bouâ€" quets of flowers to the sick, lonely‘ tund poor of Chicago, â€" This work was‘ carried on through the > Chicago Plant; Flower .and Fruti Guild, At the close of the program the pastor presented to the church wightcen beauâ€" tiful â€" fumed _ oak platform chairs which the children helped to purchase with‘ their weekly offerings.
