Mrs. William K. Cowan who is shbwing many novelties in her shop at the residence of Mrs. Herman H. Hettler for the summer, announces a display at the Moraine hotel, Friâ€" day, July 25 and Saturday, July 26. The "Cotton Blossom Colored Singâ€" ers," a small group of students from aâ€" nonâ€"sectarian school for underâ€" privileged colored boys and girls in Mississippi, will give an entertainâ€" ing program | of "spirituals," folk songs and plantation melodies at the Highland Park M. E. church, North avenue at Lauretta place, this week, Saturday evening at 8. o‘clock. ‘Adâ€" mission will be free to all comers but an offering will be received for the benefit of the school. There were between 400 and 500 perâ€" sons on the beach at the height of the day, and Park avenue sands were just as crowded.
