We are pleased to note that during the past three months the average attendance at the Sunday evening services was exactly the same as the average attendance at the morning services. In view of the present trend to neglect the house | of God, the attendance all along has] been good. However considering thel population of the community, many| more should be foundâ€"in the house of God. In their absence they are sustaining a spiritual loss of which, for the present, they are not conâ€" scious. $ The Bible school meets at 9:30 a. ’m. Requests for prayer are always welcomed. , The outâ€"door service held in front of the church on last Sunday evening was another occasion of inspiration and blessing. Here â€"are two comforting texts: "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee." Isa. 42:2. "Underneath are the . everlasting arms." Deut. 33:27. In response to a special delivery letter, the followâ€" ing telegram was sent not long ago to one in great perplexity. "Weare remembering you so specially in prayer. Do not be distressed. God is able for every situation. See Isa. 54:17.. Will write you tomorrow." In dictating the message to the lady at the Western Union office the sender was cut off before the message was finished. He called up again and anâ€" other young woman answered. When he had finished she exclaimed: "I am glad that you were cut off, for I needâ€" ed that message myself."
