June 12 will end the semester, and on June 18, commencement will take place Begin American Folk Music Series Oct. 18 The music of the American Indian, the first of the "American Folk Muâ€" sic Series" to be presented at Orchesâ€" tra hall this fall under the auspices of the Board of Education, will be presented (by real Indians a week from Saturday morning (October 18). The Redskins, members of the Naâ€" vajo, Pueblo, Ottawa and Winnebago tribes, will provide a program of tribal songs and dances under the diâ€" rection of Marx and Anne Obernâ€" dorfer. ‘â€"Mr. and Mrs. Oberndorfer, the former a past president of the Society of American Musicians, are known throughout the country for their research in the realm of native American music, their radio concerts, und their recitals.
