Next Sunday Highwood plays the American Evening Peaches here, in one of the feature games of the Midwest league. Last year the Peaches were the coâ€"champs of that league. The locals beat them 7 to 6 last year, but as Highwood was not in the league it did not afâ€" fect the Peaches‘ standing in the league. F. P. Hawkin‘s Daughter Dies in California Mrs. Elizabeth Hawkins Ball, wife of Joseph Ball of Pasadena, Calif., nassed away at her home in Caliâ€" fornia, Tuesday, Oct: 21st. She is the daughter of Mr. F. P: Hawkins of this ctiy and was born in Highland Park. She has resided here intermittently during the past Ave or six years. .
