This compares with $83,â€" 713,860 for the corresponding period a year ago, and shows a decrease of $3,893,414 or 4.65 per cent. Thursday, Dec. 18, 1930 Sales for the 11 month period ended November 29 were $980,949,625, comâ€" pared with $940,654,424 for the same 11 month period in 1929, and is a gain of $40,295,201 or 4.89 per cent. The actual quantity of goods sold in November, 1930, amounted to 399,â€" 742 tons. This compares with 381,106 tons sold in November, 1929, and is a gain of 18,636 tons or 4.89 per cent. Tonnage for the 11 month period in 1930 was 4,755,395, compared with 4,â€" 302,817 in the. same period of 1929, an increase of 452,578 tons or 10.52 per cent. Average weekly sales for Novemâ€" ber, 1930, were $19,955,112, compared with $20,928,465 in November, 1929, a decrease of $973,353.
