He said in effect if not in these exact words, "The boys now in scouting will later on take their places. in organizations in the busiâ€" ness world and in various social and religious organizations in their community. It is of great value for anyone early in life to learn to function in a cooperative manâ€" ner with others in the social group. To make success in life and achieve happiness everyone must sooner or Jlater learn to "get along" with other people, even though they may not in all cases like the other peoâ€" ple with whom they come in inâ€" timate contact. ‘In my opinion acâ€" tive membership in a scout troop gives this training unusually well, and helps to prepare a boy for sucâ€" cess later on." CAMPAIGN FOR NEW SCOUTS BEGUN We have been working on reâ€"organâ€" ization of the troop for some time.
