Thursday, Jdn. 29, 1931 l Scout Ereeutioe's Column We tind that the people of the north shore are nut all aware that every scoutmaster, is a volunteer leader. Not only do these men give one eve- ning a week to troop meetings, but other evenings are given to planning) programs. attending scout leaders training courses and to special coun-‘ oil and district activities. In addition there are the afternoon and overnight hikes on week ends' and holidays, and many leaders spend two weeks in camp with their troops each summer. Some institutions make available to the troops and scoutmaster funds for the troop's activities. Several churches not only provide this support but have furnished tt “Scout room" for the use of the troop where they mny keep the trophies, handicrafts and the equipment that accumulates with the growth of the troops.
