During the major part of this time, he was its president. Under his guidance both the kindergarten school and the building to the north were constructed by a bond issue. Then, by public subscription $50,000 was raised to build the audiâ€" torium. a k In 1908 he came to Highland Park. He built a resiâ€" dence at 273 Central avenue which he occupied unâ€" til 1926. He now resides at 368 Woodland avenue, Ravinia, in his own home. He moved to Chicago in 1887, organized the Cutler Shoe Company, a very succesfsul business enterâ€" prise, â€"which he owned and managed until 1925 when he retired from active work. EMIL B.
