Thurs Mr. William J. Fisher, Mr. Harold Fisher and their brother of Park Ridge went to Racine, Wis. Thursday morning because of the serious illâ€" ness of their father, Mr. Eugene Fishâ€" er, who passed away that day at the age of 79 years. â€"On Saturday they returned to Racine to attend the fuâ€" neral. The burial took place in Wauâ€" paca, Wis. Thieves Rob Stores _ _ Eary Last Thursday Two robberies occurred in Deerfield early Thursday morning between the The J. R. Notz Hardware store was entered by a rear window. They took an expensive gun, a radio, an electric clock, hunting knives, various â€"other kinds of knives, watches, etc. They also took all the change in the cash register. The loss was over $200. The other robbery was Miss Heâ€" man‘s Home Cafe, where they took her entire stock of cigars, cigarettes and candy. On departing from the Notz Hardâ€" ware store the thieves left the back door wide open. They also left numâ€" erous finger prints. An expett’fron Evanston was called in and discovered two sets of finger prints. : Most of the boys involved in the recent B‘rkr?tq robbery were sent for and their finger prints were taken, to see if they corresponded with those found in the store.
