PA Houses for Rent $2500 Short of Goal in Campaign for Community Chest An analysis of our subscriptions to date shows that pledges have not been received as yet from several hundred of our citizens whom we feel want to 0:3;1& to the chest, but for some n or other have delayed making their subscription promptly. We appeal to them to do their full part in this community undertaking at once. . 4 "If any citizen who has not {:.t gubscribed has failed to do so 1 eause he does not know what the Chest is, or does not understand the work of the welfare agencies supâ€" ported by the Chest, we urge him "We are not sure whether these citizens have been missed by our workers, therefore in order to make certain that those who have not subscribed as yet, have the opporâ€" tunity to do so, a special letter was sent to them yesterday ‘enclosing their subscription card and urging them to join with the other 1,850 of their fellow citizens who have alâ€" ready done their part toward makâ€" ing this year‘s campaign a success." President Cloud Wampler, over whose signature the special letter was sent, said, "The Community Chest campaign is the one.cityâ€"wide undertaking in which every Highâ€" land Park citizen can take part, It is not the responsibility of any one group or class of citizens, Ra;?d- less of the size of the subscription he is able to make, every citizen should be proud to share in the comâ€" munity responsibility of making possible the welfare services of the thirteen agencies which make Highâ€" land Park a better place in which to live. 1 FURNISHED OR UNFURNISHED attracâ€" gn 6 room wesidence with oil heat in Ravinia. _ Location: near schools and fi.’.mfi.., $90 furnished, $75 FURNISHED HOUSE; until June lst ; rent YOUNG GIRL, high school graduate, desires ~ office position, very iz.dy in ‘shorthand and tn::f: can also bookkeeping ; ex« cellent references.
