As the Poppy which grew on the battlefields where so many of them fell, has become their memorial flower, there could be no more apâ€" propriate observance than a general wearing of the Poppy in their honâ€" or. Celebrate Sunday â€" At Temple Sholom The Chicago affair, which is to be the key celebration of several hundred to be held in various cities of the United States and Canada, is expected to bring to Chicago many notables including Alfred M. Cohen, of Cincinnati, the venerable president of B‘nai B‘rith, and Sam Beber of Omaha, youthful founder of A.Z.A., which has become an important .youth movement of the world. Several thousand invitations have been issued, and this celebration is to be one of the outstanding affairs of the Junior B‘nai B‘rith of this year, A Elaborate plans are being made by the Boy Scout groups of A.Z.A., the mothers‘ auxilaries of Junior B‘nai B‘rith, and the men‘s Bar Mitzvah committee of ‘B‘nai B‘rith. "The Holy City" To Be Sung May 16 by Sunday evening, May 16, at 8 o‘clock, is the definite time set for the singing of "The Holy City" by the Community Chorus. The place will be the Presbyterian church. The singers will be four soloists and a chorus of fifty representing all local churches. ‘The audience, it is hoped, will include every music lover and appreciator of the poetic and spirâ€" itual beauty of the scriptures.
