P. 8. Scully Dies; Buried Wednesday Philip 8. Scully, aged 68, passed away Monday at his home in Chiâ€" cago following a year‘s illness of heart trouble. Until a year ago, when he left Deerfield to go toâ€" Arizons in the hope of regaining his bealth, he had been aâ€"resident of this village for 16 years. Since 1893 he had been an emâ€" ployee of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad, serving as an engineer. He was retired a year ago when his health failed him. He was a member of Deerfield Lodge No. 1110 A. F. and A. M. and Vetâ€" eran Employee‘s association, C, M. & St. P. R. R. Funeral services were held yesâ€" terday (Wednesday) afternoon at two o‘clock from the funeral home at 3429 Fullerton avenue, Chicago. Interment was in Ridgewood cemeâ€" and Mra. Nellie Stevens. The burglars left in the barn about fifty bushels of oats. Saturday Mr. Linneman was inâ€" formed by Lake county authorities that the burglars had been back to the home on Saunders road near Deerfleld. This time they got the fifty bushels of oats. Deerfield Church to Give Concert in Highland Park Sunday The Bethichem Evangelical church choir of twenty voices will present a varied musical program at the Bethany church in Highland Park on Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o‘clock. Soloists will be Willis Johnson, age 12, Mrs. Dorothy Fehr Peterson, and David Stryker. Mrs, Chester Wessling is accompanist. It will be a joint worship service and Revâ€" erend Earl J. Bruso will assist in the devotionals. Leslie Christensen is choir leader. Barn Dance at Oak Terrace School The Highwood recreation project is giving a barn dance at the Oak Terrace school at 8 p.m. tonight (Thursday). â€" Guy Colby, the well known and popular caller of WLS will conduct the dance.
