Annual Meeting ‘ Of Y.W.C.A. To Be Held Next Tuesday Y.W.C.A. Anual Meeting News of the Y.W.C.A. in China brought by Miss Florence Pierce who has recently returned from her work there and news of our local Y.W.C.A. will be sammarized ‘by Miss Mary Robe will feature the anâ€" nual meeting of the Highland Park Y.W.C.A. to be held March 10. Members and interested friends who wish to attend the buffet supper at 7 o‘clock must make reservations by Tuesday, March 8. ____â€"_____ In the absence of Mrs. Theodore Osborne the meeting will be in charge of the viceâ€"president, Mrs. Theodore Fischer. The setting for a friendly, informal evening will be provided by the buffet supper for which the Social committee is takâ€" ing the responsibility. This comâ€" mittee consists of Mrs. Lyle Gourâ€" ley, chairman, Mrs. Lee Gatewood, Miss Adele Everett. Mrs. Paul Beâ€" hanna and Miss Dorothy Simpson. But if a women believes in the purpose, wishes to be kept inâ€" formed of the program and is willâ€" ing to lend her moral support it will greatly strengthen the cause to have her enrolled as a member." There is no membership fee. One becmes a member by signing the membership card which can be seâ€" cured from members of the commitâ€" tee or at the Y.W.C.A. office. Other features of the program Thursday evening will be group singthg led by Mrs. V. C. Musser and vocal numbers by Mary Santi. Pi Deltaâ€"Club Hostesses The members of the Pi Delta club will be the hostesses on Thursday evening of this week when Mrs. J. Stannard Baker will give her illusâ€" trated. lecture "Canceing Through Europe. Friendship Club Dinner On Thursday evening the memâ€" bers of the Friendship club will meet at 6:30 for dinner served by the officers of the club. Later in the evening the members will atâ€" tend Mrs. Baker‘s lecture. Advocate Building Coâ€"operative House For Deerfield A movement is on foot to build a cooperative house in the village of Deerfield.
