Mike Bligh, of whom you have heard before, wrote a letter to me the other day, though there wasn‘t much letter to it, it was mostly poem. You remember, Mike, along with Pat, Mike‘s twin brother, is an Irish Setter, and, as Irish Setters are won‘t to doâ€"and you can bear me out by asking Betty Robinsonâ€" Mike fell sick a long time ago, as did his brother Pat, and both of the boys were staying at my house for a long timeâ€"in fact it was such a long time that Pat‘s and Mike‘s mother and dad had just about deâ€" cided that raising twin Setters is practically comparable to doing the same thing to a set of quintuplets, only worse. Anyway, when Mike wrote me this letter I thought it was pretty swell of him to think of me, because Irish Setters have lots of things to do, usually, and haven‘t much time to think of the family .doctor, much less ‘than to write letâ€" ters and even sign them with a pawâ€" print, so therefore I am passing his poem on to you, in the hope that you will enjoy it half as much as I have. I might also add that the whole cause of the poem is the fact that both Pat and Mike were sort ofâ€" orphaned when "they were very tiny, a fact I might have mentioned The Sheridan marksmen defeated the Winnetka club in a recent closeâ€" ly contested match on their own indoor range in Deerfield. The match was featured by fine shooting on the part of two women team memâ€" bers representing Winnetka. Sheridan Rifle Club Fires Return Match With Winnetka Club On Wednesday evening, March 16, the Sheridan Rifle club of Highland Park fired a return match with the Winnetka Rifle and Pistol club in the New Trier High School Field House. In another recent shoulder to shoulder match, on their home range, the Sheridan club also deâ€" feated the Waukegan Rifle club in a match so closely shot that the outcome hinged on the fhal shot. The local club has to its credit also, a fine victory over the strong Sylâ€" van Rod and Gun Club of Chicago. Sheridan has been defeated this seaâ€" son only by the crack Lake View & GRAVE CEMETERY LOT Shore Garden of Memories. eation. Tel. H.P. 857 days RECONDITIONED _ SEWING MACHINES §5.00 and up!
